WEB LAYOUT AND DEVELOPMENT

The challenge was to translate the delicacy and attention to detail that Impedimenta applies to its books into the digital world. That’s why we participated in the design process to achieve the result required by one of the most important independent publishers in Spain.

After the design, we carried out the layout and programming phases in parallel, since we performed an import of the client’s database and a new structure and hierarchy of the same to achieve more complex relationships between the different elements such as authors, books, reviews, blog articles, etc.

These types of projects are also very complex due to the diversity of data and its processing. That’s why good planning and definition of objectives are so important. Furthermore, in the publishing sector, we often encounter photographs and books of different formats, resources of very different qualities and sizes, etc. So we also had to be very demanding when it came to unifying and displaying the content in an attractive and orderly way in a responsive design that adapted to any device.

We love the result and it has brought us many joys because it is a pride to have achieved a very complex website in terms of development that allows the client to be more efficient and work better in their day-to-day. We hope you like it!
